I am a BIG fan of the new design. The pieces feel so stable, and it was easy to assemble the canvas. I've been using Genie canvas a long time, and this model feels super secure!

Libby Rule review photo

Hi Libby,

Thank you so much for this incredible feedback and for being such a loyal, long-time supporter of Genie Canvas! We are absolutely thrilled to hear how much you love the new design.

We know you had to wait a little bit for this batch to make it through our woodshop queue, so hearing that the final stability and execution hit the mark for your studio makes it all worth it. We can't wait to see what you create on this one!

The canvas-stretching improvement has made the difference between a wobbling canvas and a tight, easy painting. I like it. However, the shipping takes such a long time. The shipping labels are created several days after your order, and it does not drop off to the shipper's hands for another several days. No wonder, it takes a long time to receive the canvases. Make sure you will be ready to wait a month for the canvas to actually arrive at your door. Durham NC.

Thank you so much for the review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that our tension system gave you the perfect, drum-tight surface for your painting. We also deeply appreciate your honest feedback regarding the shipping timeline. Because every Genie Canvas is precision-milled and rigorously tension-tested in our woodshop, it takes a little extra time to ensure every joint meets our strict museum-grade standards before it ships out. We refuse to rush the craftsmanship, but we are actively upgrading our fulfillment process to get these into artists' hands much faster. Thank you for your patience and for choosing us for your studio!
